The first Ecogîte Calvados has been approved at Patrick and Patricia Billard La Chapelle Engerbold Swiss Normandy.

The Ecogîtes ® are Gîtes de France accommodation (lodges, guest houses or holiday groups) that are fully integrated in their environment and on their website. They were built with local materials and healthy control their consumption of energy and water and sometimes use of renewable energies. These accommodations are above all a way for owners and their guests to contribute in protecting the environment and share common values.

The cottage of Mr. and Mrs. BILLARD is a fine example of combining the cottage charm of yesteryear with an old mill, modern comfort and use of local materials and environmentally friendly.

Choose holiday environmentally friendly with this Ecogîte ® housed in a former oil mill. It was restored in respect of the authenticity and the environment: lime wash, stones and bricks country, local wood and untreated wood stoves, etc..
