description
Located in a triangle between Caen, Falaise, and Thury Harcourt le Hom, and near Clécy and Pont d'Ouilly (15 minutes), three large guest rooms – Manon, Grenier de Louise, and L'Atelier de Jules – welcome you to Anne and Franck's family home. It is a typical 18th-century building of the Suisse Normande region. The rooms, particularly suited to families, are tastefully decorated and each has its own unique charm. The bathrooms are very comfortable. Guests have access to a pleasant common room, "Le Comptoir," with a kitchen and lounge area. A pergola, pétanque court, children's play area, and baby equipment (crib, changing table, etc.) are also available. You are close to the town of Falaise, birthplace of William the Conqueror, and the many attractions of Clécy and Pont d'Ouilly (paragliding, hiking, kayaking, etc.), and on the road to the Roche d'Oëtre site.
In a building adjoining the main house, with independent access via an external staircase, upstairs you'll find "Jules' Workshop" (one bedroom for four people: one double bed on the ground floor and one double bed on the mezzanine), "Manon's Room" (one bedroom for two people: one double bed, with an additional bed available), and "Louise's Attic" (one bedroom for five people: one double bed on the ground floor and one double bed and one single bed on the mezzanine). Each room has its own shower room and toilet. Selected by the 2013 Guide du Routard as one of the best bed and breakfasts. There is also a shared living area with a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, and lounge.
