Belle maison avec une grande pièce ouverte sur séjour, salle à manger et cuisine, idéal pour se retrouver en famille et partager du temps ensemble. Bien aménagée et propreté irréprochable. Grande terrasse ...donnant sur un beau jardin planté de pommiers à l'arrière de la maison. Environnement calme et reposant. Belles promenades sur les chemins de randonnée, qui permettent de rejoindre Arromanches en profitant du paysage maritime. Accueil très sympathique de la propriétaire qui conseille sur les excursions dans les environs. Ce séjour correspondait parfaitement à nos attentes, seul bémol : aucun commerce sur Manvieux, la boulangerie la plus proche est à Arromanches. Read more

La maison est tres bien situe. Nous pouvions partir directement de la maison pour de belles et longues promenades le long de la mer, des falaises et à l'intérieur du pays. Dans les environs, on peut visiter ...beaucoup de belles villages : Bayeux, Arromanches, le plage d.Omaha etc . La voiture est nécessaire. A Manvieux il n'y a pas de commerces. Read more

Le gite chez MAGUI est très bien situé pour visiter les plages du débarquement de Gold Beach à Utah Beach. A quelques minutes, la plage d'Arromanches, son port artificiel et son superbe musée, on peut ...même y aller à pied. Juste à côté la batterie allemande de Longues-sur-Mer. Le gite en lui même est très confortable, bien équipé et décoré avec goût. Nous y avons passé un agréable séjour et nous y reviendrons avec plaisir. Bref... on recommande ! Read more

Comfort in a great location

We received a warm welcome on our arrival at the gite and explanation about the accommodation and the area. The gite was immaculately presented and well-equipped and we had a very comfortable stay. We ...found the location was quiet and peaceful and worked well to explore both the D-day beaches and Bayeux and other historic sites. We were able to walk from the gite to Cap Manvieux and the Longues-sur-Mer Battery taking the tourist information office walk no 3 and mainly avoided the roads which are quite narrow in the area. We did not bring our bikes but the Velomaritime cycleway was easily accessible and popular. We would definitely recommend to others. Read more
