excellentes vacances

La région est magnifique. Nous avons eu un coup de cœur pour la ville de Port-en-Bessin située à 5 minutes en voiture du gîte. La propriétaire du gîte est très gentille. Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés

Nous sommes ravis de notre séjour.l'accueil de la propriétaire est vraiment charmant et chaleureux Les animaux sont les bienvenus.il y a tout le matériel pour cuisiner et les poêles et casseroles sont ...en très bon état.la région est très chouette.la plupart des plages sont autorisées aux chiens ainsi que certains musées mais pas tous bien sûr.Et les habitants aiment les chiens : le nôtre a toujours été accueilli dans les bars ou nous nous sommes posés avec une gamelle d'eau fraîche a disposition. Gîte bien aménagé, tranquille et bien placé

Idéal pour rayonner dans la région. Spacieux et chambre à l'étage. Attention escalier raide. Dommage que le barbecue soit à charbon de bois.

La campagne

Odeurs de la ferme nauséabondes et escalier très dangereux. Pour 1 semaine c'est bien mais pas plus. Un très joli bouquet de fleurs pour nous accueillir.

Quiet, but handy location

I stayed here alone for a week, and it is in a commune/hamlet which is very quiet. This wasn't a problem for me. but potential stayers should be aware that there are no facilities there. However, it is ...close to Bayeux for hypermarkets or Port-au-Bessin for restaurants. The beaches are easy to get to so to get from Utah side to Ouiestrahm side doesn't take too much driving. The gite was well serviced and was nice to go back to after a day of sightseeing. Much better value than staying at a hotel. The owner made me welcome and had provided the bedding I had requested beforehand. If I had a negative, it would be that the wifi wasn't always working. Also, it is an historic building so there aren't many power sockets. I always carry an extension lead so only had to unplug a light to use this. Read more

Séjour très agréable

Gîte fort bien aménagé avec une décoration très soignée et personnalisée pour accueillir les vacanciers , les espaces extérieurs sont très agréables ( jardin parfaitement clôturé ) et une belle petite ...terrasse privative. Nous remercions beaucoup Mme Lamy d'abord de nous avoir facilité l'arrivée au gîte ( dès 12h car nous séjournions déjà à proximité ) et d'accueillir gratuitement les chiens. Good location

This gite is located in a nice area, close to Caen, Bayeux and the invasion beaches. We think it was OK in relation to cost but we would like to mention two things that we did not know of beforehand. First ...and most important, the gite is located near a farm with a large manure pit. The smell is present all the time and we could not sit outside and eat. Further, inside there is a steep staircase to the upper floor which could be a problem for some people. Read more
